Lucien Delarue

(1925 - )

Born in Paris in 1925, Lucien Delarue took part in exhibitions from an early age and enjoyed considerable success. He was decorated with a first prize and the Vermeil Medaille at the Salon Violetta.  Shortly after, he was awarded a gold medal at the Salon Vincennes, and a bronze medal at one of the most important exhibitions in Paris, the "Arts, Sciences, Lettres".

In 1970, his works were exhibited at the Museum of Ile de France in the Chateau of Sceaux.  Further exhibitions have been held in both New York and San Francisco.

In 1973, he was distinguished with the gold medal of the Salon of Clicy and in 1974 with the silver medal of the Salon des Artistes Francais, of which he is a member.

His personal view of Paris across the rooftops gives a delightful vista over that beautiful and romantic city.
