Brian Eden

Brian Eden gained a scholarship to the Liverpool School of Art at the age of 13 and studied there for four years, gaining his basic understanding of art.

On leaving art school, he became a Graphic Designer for a Liverpool company, continuing to develop his art, first in the field of oil painting and then in watercolours.

During his two year National Service with Marine Commandos, he continued drawings and painting whenever possible, and thereafter gained further experience as a Graphic Designer for a number of companies in the Print industry.

His superb draughtsmanship is the ‘key’ to the quality of his paintings, combined with good use of colour and meticulous attention to detail.  Many of his paintings portray the beauty of Victorian England and his highly individual watercolours are avidly sought by collectors both in this country and abroad.
