Born in a small village in the south of France where he worked as a tailor. He lives in a world of colour and form where he casts an imaginative spell over ordinary, everyday events. He is particularly attracted by the freshness of village life and it's humour which he paints with great simplicity. His works are well known and appear in many collections.
