Nadine Lundahl was born in Antwerp in 1958.From an early age Nadine was exposed to paintings and rare objets d’art owing to her father’s profession as an antiques dealer and also to her lineage as a descendant of the well known Finnish artist Amelie Lundahl.

She was educated at The Royal Academy of Arts in Antwerp. She concentrated more fully on her preferred subject matter by studying the techniques of the 17th century Flemish and Dutch still life painters.Developing her subjects on a relatively small scale, she uses traditional oil painting techniques on specially prepared panels. She is careful to select objects that relate together in form, texture and colour to display a sensual display of contrasting surfaces.Lundahl’s compositions reflect a stillness that is juxtaposed to the momentum of modern life.

Lundahl is a prize winning painter who has exhibited widely in continental Europe and now in Canada. The artist lives and works in Antwerp,Belgium.
